What's New at Holy Rosary?
As of the 2015-2016 school year, we have added a new Religion Course for grades 7/8, Introduction to Apologetics taught by Father John Mayo!
As of the 2015-2016 school year, we are adding tons of books to our current library. We have been given books from 2 schools, over 100 boxes! Come see what's new in the library this year!
As of the 2015-2016 school year we will have smart boards in each classroom, we have painted the interior of the school, added a new teacher to our staff, redone our parking lot, upgraded our internet capabilities on campus, restructured and upgraded our computer network, continued to expand our computer curriculum, and have improved our campus security systems.
As of the 2014-2015 school year, we have begun training and implementation of a new program called Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline. Please see our link on VBRD in the "Student_Programs" tab for more information. .
As of the 2014-2015 school year, Eagle Scout Ben Ehlenbeck built raised planting beds behind the church. These will be used to support a community garden and also to support curriculum centered around outdoor education
As of the 2013-2014 school year, our Computer Curriculum has been updated to not only include "care and use" of PC's, but most importantly to offer computational thinking skills and additional technical skills which include computer security, algorithms, programming, animation, network basics, teamwork, project based learning, storyboarding, blogging and leadership geared to individual elementary school grades.
